A lot of people would identify with the nazi party to protect themselves and their family while they would hide jewish or other targeted individuals.

a persuasive leader. Hitler was said to have a way with words and his speeches were influencial. many people blindly watched him and didn't question him because of his power and speaking abilities. Here's a fun fact about psychology: you're more likely to see someone who is attractive as more reliable, smart, and correct.

Anti-Jewish propaganda also dehumanized Jewish people and made it easier for them to be alienated as well as mistreated. It made it easier to accept hitler's plans. essentially brainwashing.
