Ratios are very easy if you can find a relationship between them. For #8, to get from 2 to 6 is to multiply 3. Then we multiply 7 and 3 to equal 21. This will be equivalent ratios. The next one is the same thing, to get from 6 to 24, we must multiply 4. We know that to make it equivalent we must multiply 5 with 4 which equals 20. Also we can do this with proportions 2/7 = 6/x. We cross multiply which equals 2x=42. We solve it like an algebraic equation which equals 21. We set up proportions for 5/6 = x/24. We cross multiply which equals 6x = 120. We solve this like an algebraic equation which equals to 20.
