Explanation:

the radius of a circle is half of the diameter

= 24.4/2 = 12.2 m

the area of a circle is

pi × r²

r being the radius.

so, in our case that is

3.14 × 12.2² = 3.14 × 148.84 = 467.3576 ≈ 467.36 m²
