let f(x)=y
f^-1(x)=x
y=1/(x+5) - 1
y+1=1/(x+5)
(x+5)=1/(y+1)
x=1/(y+1)-5
f^-1(x)=1/(x+1) -5

denominator cannot equals to zero
x+1≠0
x≠-1
