m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (100 - 80) / (5 - 4)

m = 20 / 1

m = 20

y = 20x

Hence, when, x = 12

y = 20 * 12

y = 240

From the graph:

Slope :

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (280 - 70) / (8 - 2)

m = 210 / 6

m = 35

y = 35x

When x = 12

Graph :

y = 35 * 12

y = 420

Difference :

420 - 240

= 180
