When tracing the history of Europe and Northern Asia, we learn about numerous monarchies that date back centuries. Today, monarchies still exist, but they can be very different from their predecessors. Discuss some of the European nations that still have a monarchy. How do the monarchies of today differ from those that existed centuries ago? What has remained the same?

Answer:

(the same answer as the other persons but correct spelling)

Many ideologies evolve over the years and places like the United Kingdom have constitutional monarchies meaning they have democracy and all, but they still keep a royal family, who have power, but can't do stuff like kill off everyone they want, mainly because stuff like the house of common exists in the UK. Belgium also has one, and I guess you can consider the Pope as a "king" but not really. Somethings remained the same like how they do get royal respect, tons of cash I guess, and make some political choices.
