Let the second number = 8x

Let the third number = x + 100

x + 8x + x + 100 = 480 Combine like terms

10x + 100 = 480 Subtract 100

- 100 -100

10x = 380 Divide by 10

x = 380/10

x = 38

First number = 38

Second number = 8*38 = 304

The third number = 38 + 100 = 138
