Note that:

  • Given expression: (2.5 x 10 - 2) + (5.5 x 10 - 3)

Simplifying the expression using BODMAS:

  • (2.5 x 10 - 2) + (5.5 x 10 - 3)
  • => (25 - 2) + (55 - 3) [Brackets]
  • => (23) + (52) [Brackets]
  • => 23 + 52 [Adding]
  • => 75
