You would choose The group 1 metals in this case.(aka your alkali metals)

Explanation:Looking at the periodic table it takes them 1 electron to give away to achieve stability which tells me they are by far the “smoothest” and “free moving” metals.Making it much more easier for electrons to be carried from one end to the other in its molten state.Because of how easy the electrons get to move from one end to the other, the currents are faster. (the easier the electrons move the better the conductivity)

Why are the other type of metals not really a good conductivity when compared to Group 1 Alkali metals?
Answer:Transition metals don’t really have a specific charge so it depends.Because of this it doesn’t determine how good it’s conductivity is because you don’t know what’s being lose unless it’s stated. And transitioning from metals to non-metals makes the property lean nearer to the non-metals which is not a good electrical conductivity.Furthermore, for alkaline earth metals it takes 2 charges to transfer to achieve stability which is not as smooth as group 1 metals, making it less as great in terms of conductivity. At the end of the day they all conduct electricity as they’re all metals. But it varies on how great they are which depends on their charges.
