I got -13x +10? not sure what i’m doing wrong.

First multiply 2x with 3x then with (-2)
Second multiply (-5) with 3x then with(-2)

The answer will be like this

Lets use the FOIL method to expand,

(2x - 5)(3x -2)

2x * 3x + 2x * -2 + -5 * 3x + -5 * -2

This is the expanded version of the expression above!

here is a better way of explaining it,

(2x - 5) is the first equation now lets split it up

now its 2x and -5!

now you just multiply 2x and -5 to the second equation (3x - 2)

Lets Simplify it,

2x * 3x + 2x * -2 + -5 * 3x + -5 * -2

6x^2 - 4x - 15x + 10

6x^2 - 19x + 10

(tip: DON'T FORGET SAY ^2 because there are 2x's in the (2x*3x) part!)

Now you just simplify!

So as a result the answer is,

6x^2 - 19x + 10
