Let y and z stand for any two different rational numbers. If |y|<|z|, then what else must be true?

A, y is less than z.
B, The opposite of y is greater than the opposite of z.
C, On a number line, y is to the left of z.
D, y is closer to 0 than z is.

the answer is A

the answer is A because the strict inequality sign is “the alligator”. the alligator whats the bigger amount so it’s “eating” letter Z because Z is the greater amount. therefore letter A being the answer.
