You are pulling up an anchor while on a boat. You pull up the anchor at a rate of 0.5 feet per second. After 6 seconds, the anchor is 8 feet from your hands. Write an equation that represents the distance y (in feet) that the anchor is from your hands after x seconds. Then graph the equation.
