B. A country like Brazil literally has the Amazon forest and is one of the most green countries in the continent, and they still manage to struggle economically. So it can't be that.

C. A lot of nations were super dependent on exporting a certain natural resource, and if they didn't get any investments then there whole market will crash. They also have very limited education, so that doesn't do any better either.

D. There are around 0 communist government in South America, but some did go through communism though.
