and p 10 be y

now

x + y = 105

or, x =105 - y....(!)

again

5x + 10y = 850

or , x =( 850 - 10y)÷5....(!!)

from equation (i ) and (ii)

105 - y = (850 - 10y ) ÷ 5

or, (105 - y)5 = 850 -10 y

or, 525 - 5y = 850 - 10y

or, 10y - 5y = 850 - 525

or, 5y = 325

or, y = 65

now,

x = 105 - 65

x = 40

hence ,

P5 = 40

p10 = 65
