Answer:

x^2+1/x^2

(x+1/x)^2 = x^2+1/x^2 +2

(5)^2 = x^2+1/x^2 + 2

25 = x^2+1/x^2 + 2

25-2 = x^2+1/x^2

23 = x^2+1/x^2
