Answer:Macbeth is the tragic hero.

Step-by-step explanation:

Macbeth was convinced by his wife to betray King Duncan. He was an honest man and compassionate but was ambitious as well. He too desired power, fame, authority and and a great position in the noble society. He betrayed the king because he believed he was destined to be king from what the three witches proficiency to him. He killed King Duncan in which caused his own downfall and demise. He was influence by those around him and ended up as a tragic hero who caused his own demise. He still responsible for his actions and nothing will change that.
