Rylee drew a blue line that was 6 2/7 long and a red line that was 3 4/7 long. How much longer was the blue line than the red line?

2 5/7

Explanation:

Difference in length = length of blue line - length of red line


6(2)/(7) - 3(4)/(7)


3(2-4)/(7)

Subtract 1 from the whole number and add it to 2, when 1 is added to 2 it becomes (7 + 2) = 9

= 2 5/7
