This is becuase since the scale factor from Fig A to B is 0.25, the length of all of the sides follows this rule.

Since x on Fig A and 1.5 on Fig B are corresponding sides, you can do:

x * 0.25 = 1.5

x * 0.25 (4) = 1.5 (4)

x * 1 =6

x = 6
