Any y value greater than 7 would make the product greater than 5. This can be looked at as y > 7. So y/7 can be rthough of as y divided by 7. 5 x y/7 can be though of as y * 5 divided by 7. Or 5y/7. To make this value 5, y must be 7. Since 7/7 is 1, and 1*5 is 5. If the number is greater than this it would have to be >7/7, since this would make it >1*5. So y must be >7. Hope this helps!
