Joshua needed to get his computer fixed. He took it to the repair store. The technician at the store worked on the computer for 5 hours and charged him $138 for parts. The total was $363. Which equation could be used to determine x, the cost of labor per hour?

You can use the equation 363=5x+138. Since we know what y is you can substitute the value of 363 or you can say y=5x+138 however since you know what y is I would fill it in. I don’t know what equation you guys work with but one of them should work. To find x just solve the equation like you would with a linear equation. Hope this helps!
