Given :

  • length = 30 cm

  • width = 10 cm

  • height = 10 - 2 = 8 cm

( since water is filled up to a height of 8 cm )

Solution :

\large\boxed{ \mathrm{volume = l * b * h}}

  • 30 * 10 * 8

  • \mathrm{2400 \: cm {}^(3) }

_____________________________

Since, 1000 cm³ = 1 litre

  • \mathrm{1 \: cm {}^(3) = (1)/(1000) }l

  • \mathrm{2400 \: cm {}^(3) = (1)/(1000) * 2400 } \: l

  • \mathrm{2400 \: cm {}^(3) =2.4 \: \: litres}
