if the triangle is an isosceles triangle then x is equal to the other angle that is unknown. So

180-56=124. Since there are still 2 angles left you divide 124/2=62

x=62

Answer:

x = 62

Explanation:

Because of the given congruent sides, the base angles both measure x.

x + x + 56 = 180

2x = 124

x = 62
