4. Was the use of the atomic bomb in Japan justified? Why or why not? What did the

use of the bomb accomplish? Give specific examples to support your answer.

Because Japan’s honor system was heavily based on no surrender or in other words, fight to the death. The bombs lead an end to a bloody war, if we didn’t bomb Japan we would’ve had to invade them, and a war with Japan would’ve costed thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of American lives. Also, Japan had killed millions of Chinese, killed many Koreans, Vietnamese and ETC. the bombs over all lead to the end of WW2 in the pacific and ended the horrific Japanese imperial empire.
