knowing this, we have to somehow put them together.

2n-3+n+4

adding the 2n and n together: 3n-3+4

add -3+4=1

resulting in

3n+1, so the answer is A because n is a full basket and 3 times that is 3 full baskets. (with an extra 1 apple)
