You need to use 4/5 cups of strawberries for a single pie how many cups are needed for 2 pies i know the answer is 13/5 but how do you work that out

The answer is 8/5
Because a pie contains a 4/5 cup of strawberries you can just add the two amounts
4+4/5 =8/5
Or you can multiply the 4/5 with two
4/5 x 2/1 —> (4x2)/(5x1) =8/5
