Find the LCM

x-2+x(x-4)/(x-4)(x-2) = 2/x^2-6x+8

Since the denominator, are the same they cancels out

x +1 + x(x-4) = 2

x+1 + x²-4x = 2

x²-3x + 1 - 2 = 0

x² - 3x - 1 = 0

Factorize

x =3±√9+4/2

x =3±√13/2

x = 3±3.6/2

x= 6.6/2 and -0.6/2
