And we need to find the length of other leg. So since it is a right angled triangle we can use the Pythagoras Theorem which is ,

Pythagoras Theorem :-

  • In right angle triangle sum of squares of two smallest sides that is base and perpendicular is equal to the square of the largest side that is hypotenuse .

Using Pythagoras Theorem :-

:\implies 15² + = 45²


:\implies 225 + = 2025


:\implies = 1800


:\implies p = 42.42

Hence the measure of other leg is 42.42 yards.
