The slope is equal to
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

That means we need two points --> (0, 4) and (6,2)

Now let us plug it into our equation:
(2-4)/(6-0) =(-2)/(6) =-(1)/(3)

Thus the slope is -1/3
