x^2+16x+64=(x+8)^2

Explanation:

For the first spot you find the perfect square of the equation

This is found by doing (1/2 16)^2

1/2 16 = 8

8^2 = 64

The second spot is factoring, where you would put half of 16 or the square root of 64

1/2 16 = 8

root 64 = 8
