A student is investigating how light travels using a rubber tube. when the tube is curved the student cant see through it from one end to the other when the tube is straightened out the student can see all the way through

a) why can the student not see all the way through the curved tube
b/why can the student see all the way through the straight tube

Step-by-step explanation:

A.) Since Light doesn't bend until travelling through a different transparent medium, hence it won't pass when any opaque object is placed in front of it. Rubber tube being curved and opaque,won't let light pass through it.

B.) Since light always travels in a straight line, when tube is kept straight,there is a way for it to pass and the student can see it.
