Solution:

We have,

Step 1: Substitute
f(x)=y.


y=6x-3

Step 2: Interchange x and y.


x=6y-3

Step 3: Isolate variable y.


x+3=6y


(x+3)/(6)=y

Step 4: Substitute
y=g(x).


(x+3)/(6)=g(x)

Therefore, the inverse of the given function is
g(x)=(x+3)/(6) and the graphs of these functions are shown below.
