Consider LHS:

Simplify using half angle formula.


\frac{ \sin {}^(2) (x) - \cos {}^(2) (x) }{ \sin(x) - \cos(x) } = \sin(x) + \cos(x)

Divide LHS


\sin(x) + \cos(x) = \sin(x) + \cos(x)
