Answer: An example is NaCl which exist as a ionic compound which has an ionic bond

Explanation: First of all , ionic bonds is the bond formed when a metal and a non metal reacts together.

in sodium chloride it contain sodium and chlorine IONS which are charged particles. the charged particles which are the ions are held together with these force of attraction hence creating such ionic bonds between them

so Na ions and the Cl ions are held together by their ions

Na± and the Cl±
