Where /RT/ = distance between point R and Point T

From the question,

Given: y₁ = -9, x₁ = 8, y₂ = -9, x₂ = -7

Substitute these values into equation 1

/RT/ = √[(-9-(-9))²+(-7-8)²]

/RT/ = √[(0)²+(-15)²]

/RT/ = √225

/RT/ = 15 unit

Hence the distance between point R and point T is 15 unit
