it depends on how long you go without eating. you could go for hours, days, or weeks. yes, you will get thinner, but it's not the correct way to lose weight. this "method" to lose weight is so so SO harmful to your body, and the effects that it has on your body are just horrible.
but the effectiveness of the situation depends on how long you would stop eating.
Your body will use stored glucose as energy and continue to function as though you'll be eating again soon. After eight hours without eating, your body will begin to use stored fats for energy. Your body will continue to use stored fat to create energy throughout the remainder of your 24-hour fast.
but if you go weeks, the effects are far more dangerous and severe.
my opinion is just to not try this method to lose weight. skip out on the bread, sugar, soda and you'll see effects from just that.
