now you need to find two numbers such that when you multiply then you get -12 and when you add them you get +1


3x {}^(2) + x - 4 \\ 3x {}^(2) + 4x - 3x - 4 \\ x(3x + 4) - 1(3x + 4) \\ (3x + 4)(x - 1)
