How do you find and triangles area? please step by step :]​

the area of a triangle is Base X Height / 2

Explanation:

so basically the formula for finding the area of a triangle is the same as finding the area of a rectangle. base X height. except since a triangle is half a rectangle, you divide by 2. for example with this triangle:

the base is 30 and height is 21. you multiply 30 and 21, which gives you 630. then divide by 2, giving you, 315cm^2.

30 X 21 = 630 / 2 = 315 cm ^2
