145° = m∠E

Explanation:

Vertical Angles: always congruent, therefore, to find Angle E first find "x" ;

5x + 55 = 11x - 53

55 = 6x - 53

108 = 6x

108/6 = x

18 = x

Now that we know x-value is 18, u can substitute that in for the equation for Angle E for "x";

=> 5(18) + 55 = m∠E

=> 145° = m∠E
