The formula is V=lwh (Or volume equals length times width times height).

V=12 x 14 x 6

12 x 14 = 168

168 x 6 = 1,008

V=1,008

length: is how long the object is.

width: is the depth of the object, like how wide it is.

height: is how tall it is.
