Meat – Most animal proteins are considered complete and high-quality. This includes red meat, poultry, and dairy products. Eggs – An average egg is a low-fat source with approximately 6 or 7 grams of protein. Quinoa – This plant-based food includes each of the 9 amino acids that are considered essential.a wide variety of plant foods such as legumes, lentils, nuts, seeds and whole grains on a daily basis will allow for you to get the complete protein you need. These foods also provide additional benefits in the form of vitamins and minerals.

Animal-based protein like meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk, and cheese are considered complete proteins. Quinoa and soy are plant-based complete proteins. Incomplete proteins don't include all the essential amino acids.
