So, lets go over what we know:

She drove 40 miles per hour for 30 minutes.

Or:

She drove 40 miles per hour for 1/2 hours.

Or:

She drove 20 miles.(40*1/2=20)

We also know:

She drove 55 miles per hour for 2 hours.

Or:

She drove 110 miles(55*2=110)

To find the total miles, we must add the 20 and 110:

110+20

=

130

So she drove a total of 130 miles!
