There are 3 apples, 4 oranges and 1 pear in a bag. Find each probability

1) Select an orange and then a pear(without replacement)

2)You select an orange then an apple then a pear without replacement

3)You select an Apple, then an orange, then another apple without replacement

Answer:2/6 or 33% chance of getting an apple, 3/24 or 13% of getting a pear and 13/24 or 54% chance of getting an orange hope that helps.

8 fruit total

1) orange probability: 4/8 = 1/2

pear probability after one fruit is taken out: 1/7

probability of getting one then the other without replacement: 1/2 x 1/7 = 1/14

2) orange: 1/2

apple: 3/7

pear: 1/6

probability of getting them in order without replacement: 1/2 x 3/7 x 1/6 = 1/28

3) apple: 3/8

orange: 4/7

apple: 2/6 = 1/3

probability of getting them in order without replacement: 3/8 x 4/7 x 1/3 = 1/14
