I need help on what I should say for this..like why we should save the music program

You are the parent of a teenager who is a member of the choir. The school must make budget
cuts due to funding shortfalls. The school board plans to cut the vocal music department to
save money. You decide to attend the school board meeting and make the case to keep the
program because you know how important it is to your child. Write a letter or address to the
school board defending the importance of the choral program.
Consider music and non-music concepts students learn as members of the choir. Defend your
reasons with clear and concise statements. You may use research to support your ideas. You
do not have to cite for this assignment, but be careful not to plagiarize. I will check your writing
for plagiarism if I have a concern. You will receive a "0" if I find that you have copied and
plagiarized.

(I hope this helps!!)

IDEAS: Here are some ideas on what to write about; What you think the importance of choir is. (with explaining on what YOU think is important, and maybe throw in a couple of facts after u try to research the importance, but make sure not to exactly copy it!:)) and probably a paragraph or detailed enough explanation on why you think that.

(I feel like I didn't help at all- but I HOPE I did!!!)
