How did Great Britain’s approach to granting independence lead to the conflict in Kashmir? What did they do to cause this modern day issue?

Answer: The Kashmir conflict is a territorial conflict over the Kashmir region, began to perceive themselves as persecuted minorities, due to British policies in the region. Pakistan and India became independent states, as did those princely: United States of America, Britain? Russia, and to a great extent China. Kashmir was sparked by a fateful decision in 1947, and has resulted in decades of violence, including 2 wars. In 2014, India’s current Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power promising, Pakistan denied the rids had caused major damage or casualties.
