X = 14

Y = 5

The perimeter of the square = 236

It's square so

3x + 17 = 4x + 3

3x + 17 - 4x - 3 = 0

-x + 14 = 0

X = 14

And

5x + 4y = 90, x = 14

5(14) + 4y = 90

70 + 4y = 90

4y = 20

Y = 5

The perimeter of a square is the total length of all the sides of the square, length = 59

The perimeter of the square = 4 × 59 = 236

Answer:

x=-14

Y=40

Perimeter=(4×14+3)×4=236

Explanation:

as long as it's a square then

3x + 17 = 4x + 3 \\ 4 x - 3x = 3 - 17 \\ x = - 14 \\ \\ any \: angle \: in \: the \: square \: equal \: 90degrees \\ then \\ 5x + 4y = 90 \: \: when \: x = -14 \\ 4y = 5 * 14 + 90 \\ 4y = 16 \\ y = 40

perimeter =( 4 * 14 + 3)* 4 = 236
