Explanation: we can use the triangle these squares make and use the pathogen theorem, A^+B^=C^. so if we look at the squares we know that the two legs are 64 and 36 now we add them together to solve for the hypotenuse which is 100. the square root of which is 10, so the length of each side of the blue square is 10. 10 x 10 = 100. therefore your answer is area = 100
