Find the zeros of the function below, algebraically.

f(x)=(x-2)^2-64

Please show how you got answer and explain :D

x=10 and x=-6

Explanation:

f(x)=(x-2)²-64 (Given)

0=(x-2)²-64 (Set equation equal to 0)

64=(x-2)² (Add 64 to both sides)

±8=x-2 (Take the square root of both sides)

8=x-2 and -8=x-2

10=x and -6=x
