During this period we can see economies flourish, and we can make the connection that these inventions caused that.

B) New credit systems like bills of exchange allowed for the purchase of goods to be delayed. This means individuals could buy goods ahead of when they get paid. This led to an increase in demand. An increase in demand meant companies, businesses and merchants needed more goods to sell to consumers. This means they needed ways to transport more goods at faster rates. We can connect the idea that demand caused innovations in transportation to develop.

C) Hanseatic League was a development that was not a transportation advancement. Since the Naseatic League was not a transportation advancement, it was neither caused nor was caused by inventions named in part A. The Hanseatic League was a state-sponsored organization, and it can be argued that it was not connected to transportation advancements.
