Solution:

The two bars on LM and LK define that both are congruent.

This means that:

  • This triangle is an isosceles triangle.
  • The bottom angles are congruent.

Since ∠K is 42°, ∠M is also 42° because ∠K and ∠M are the bottom angles of the triangle.

Sides KL and LM are shown to be the same. This means bothe the lower angles are also the same.
