Mouth/nose inhale air, filter dust/ pathogens in air (for nose only)
Pharynx: when food is swallowed, it passes through the pharynx and enter the oesophagus
Larynx: it produces sound by vibration when air passes through it
Trachea: allow air to enter the lungs
Bronchi: there are two of them. Each of them are larger than bronchioles, smaller than trachea. Same function as trachea
Bronchioles: there are numerous of them. Each of them are smaller than bronchus. They have air sacs attached to it.
Alveoli/ air sacs: site of gas exchange. There are numerous of them and they are tiny to provide a large surface area for gas exchange
Hope this helps
